Please join the “PAPERCLIP THE NATION” rally in Poulsbo, Washington, January 4th, at 11am, located at the Waterfront Park Pavilion. We are hoping to gather a large group of demonstrators to be a part of the “PAPERCLIP THE NATION” demonstration. There will be 50 individuals holding up 50 signs from all 50 states that say “WASHINGTON RESISTS,” etc.  We have several volunteers who are going to be holding the signs, but if there are signs still available to hold and you would like to be a part of the event, we would welcome your participation. If all 50 signs are spoken for, we are still looking to have a large outpouring of people showing up to demonstrate. After the video has been taken of all of the state signs, we will carry them through the town to join the weekly demonstration with Poulsbo For All. 

The idea to PAPERCLIP THE NATION on January 6th was to demonstrate Unity on that day instead of division. The revival of the Paperclip Resistance Movement was launched in Poulsbo last April and so this unique, one-of-a-kind demonstration, rightly will be staged in “Little Norway”  where it all began. 

The people holding the 50 states will be filmed and the video will be set to music and used to launch on social media platforms for two days following, January 5th and 6th. By January 6th, we will be streaming out into the world, a mass act of solidarity and defiance, to what has been happening to our democracy. We want to show the world that we are not afraid to openly defy this tyrannical regime. 

People around the world will be joining us at whatever level they wish. People around the country will be taking their state signs to their state capitals to take pictures and send them to us as we continue our campaign to Paperclip the Nation, making yet another video that connects every state in the Union. 

The Paperclip Resistance Movement connects us all together, with a proven historical symbol of resistance. Wearing a paperclip serves to strengthen our inner resolve and transcends words and ideas. The paperclip gives you personal power each and every day. “We The People” are the leaders of this great Nation. Wear a paperclip and be a leader!!

Norwegians wore a paperclip as a symbol of resistance to fascism during WWII and they won!
